Cylinder Liners by Atrac are manufactured using gray cast iron and the advanced Centrifugal Casting Process. This method, recognized as the best for producing cylinder liners, involves rotating a permanent mold at high speeds as molten metal is poured in. The centrifugal force ensures even metal distribution, resulting in a fine-grained casting with superior surface quality. Special chemical compositions are utilized to enhance corrosion resistance and lubrication, ensuring longevity and reliable performance.
For Air Cooled Cylinder Liners, Atrac employs a special Shell Moulding Process. This technique uses wear-resistant, close-grained iron casting to produce liners that ensure efficient cooling and extended service life.

Chemical Composition:
- Chromium: 0.25% – 0.50%

- Silicon: 2.00% – 2.50%

- Sulphur: Max. 0.05%
Other material compositions, including those using Chromium, Molybdenum, Nickel, Copper, and Boron, are available to meet customer specifications in line with international standards.
